That the site allow us to put captions on the images we upload.

Sometimes a caption is wanted, either to add credit for the image or to add a little parenthetical point. Or both.

    Completed as part of new site / relaunch of July 2015.

    Captions can be added inline for body-area inline images using a line breaks and free text input. Image titles and alt tags can be added for any Featured Image or inline image. Alt tags are recommended on any image that you upload to aid the use of screen readers.

        Thanks for the suggestion. This would require additional programming, but for the time being I would recommend using the image ALT tag (there is a field for this when you click the image and select the image button on the editor) and/or adding a link to the image source at the bottom of your post.
